With her two first albums “Asa” and “Beautiful Imperfection”, the Nigerian singer Asa released jubilant soul-pop with the singles “Jailers”, “Fire On The Mountain” and “Be My Man” which are now classics. Two platinum albums later and more than 300 sold out dates, Asa comes back on August 25 with a third LP that will touch your heart. Lagos, Berlin, the US, London, Paris… she’s been writing songs throughout her travels. For the recording, she went to England, Hastings in East Sussex to work with Blair MacKichan, a writer, producer and musician whose credits include award winning hits with artists like Olly Murs, Sia, Lilly Allen and Paloma Faith, and Benjamin Constant already credited for her hits “Fire On the Mountain” and “Be My Man”.” Check out the video above for the deeply-felt, “Dead Again”.
