New Year, Nouvelle Vague in North America (Updated TICKET GIVEAWAY)
After celebrating their 20 years in music and launching a new album, Nouvelle Vague will be continuing their world tour in 2025. They will be stopping by North America just in time for Valentines season, perfect for their melancholic post-punk, bossa nova reinterpretation of classics à la française. This tour’s Nouvelle Vague members will include vocalist Alonya, whom inspired the new album with her rendition of The Clash’s song “Should I Stay Or Should I Go”. The lead single by the same name has added reggae and ska elements, and draws inspiration from La Lupe’s cover of “Fever”. Recently out are also their versions of Tears For Fears’ “Shout” featuring Bijou and Marine Quéméré, Étienne Daho’s “Bleu Comme Toi” featuring Orlane, Yazoo’s “Only You” featuring Mélanie Pain, and more.
