Keren Ann returned to New York City for American Songbook on Wednesday

Keren Ann

Keren Ann returned Stateside this past Wednesday to New York for the American Songbook series being held at the Allen Room. The series allows for a unique opportunity to experience excellent songwriters in an intimate concert setting. You can read the entire review via the New York Times. Her album 101 is out now via Blue Note Records. Catch her video for “Sugar Mama” off 101 below.

“Her biography in the Lincoln Center American Songbook program on Wednesday evening described her this way: This 37-year-old performer is “based largely in Paris, Tel Aviv and New York,” adding, “She has lived and recorded in France and the United States for many years, although she retains her Dutch and Israeli citizenships.” Maybe “international chanteuse” would be the most accurate description…”

For years, Keren Ann and bureauexport have collaborated together to assist in the international development of her career. In the United States, bureauexport supported her 2007 USA and Canada tour supporting her self-titled album as well as assisting her promotional trips in Europe and the US behind her 2011 album 101.
