“In this year 2026, marking the 250th anniversary of Franco-American friendship, and in the midst of the FIFA World Cup, we wanted a dance-filled program featuring some of the biggest names in French music, across all its dimensions. Our Bastille Day will therefore be more than ever a festive moment and a journey through the eras of French song” explains Cédrik Fouriscot, Consul General of France to New York.
Black M: a defining voice of French rap and one of the most celebrated artists in francophone hip-hop, Black M has sold over 700,000 copies of his debut solo album and built a devoted following across generations. Inspired by Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, and OutKast, his music blends rap, reggae, funk, and dancehall into an electrifying, genre-defying sound. Laurent Voulzy: one of the greatest poets of French chanson, Laurent Voulzy has been captivating audiences for nearly five decades with his luminous melodies and poetic sensitivity.
