New release: Rone “Mirapolis”
Rone returns with a new album, Mirapolis; his offbeat musical village is reachable at last. A haven of wonderment on the fringes of the indie-rock, club and electronica motorways has been built on childhood memories of funfairs, crazy architecture and heady melodies. Spiritualised by a subversive cultural board composed of equally gifted and offbeat personalities, the album boasts the likes of Bryce Dessner (The National), Kazu Makino(Blonde Redhead), John Stanier (Battles), Baxter Dury, Saul Williams, Noga Erez, Gaspar Claus and a cover by Michel Gondry.
