This past week, Laurent de Wilde Trio released their new album, “Life is a movie”. Alongside Jérôme Regard and Donald Kontomanou, Laurent presents the opportunity to experience jazz with a cinematic lens – one that dares musicians to step back from the uncertain nature of their lives in the industry, and instead, watch their lives unfold from a curious and “affectionately distant” place. Released under his label, Label Gazebo, Laurent showcases his trio and the overall flow of this new album, highlighting the true joys and pleasures of playing music together.
