Biography

Musician Wendy Bevan’s own take on cold wave inspired electronica has seen her compared to the likes of Depeche Mode, The Knife and Siouxsie Sioux. Her debut album ‘Rose and Thorn’, brings together dark pulsing electronic synths, minimalist post punk basslines and features live strings from the Balanescu Quartet. Wendy’s vivid, often surreal storytelling creates something thrillingly unique in perormance. The album features her recent single ‘Love From the Moon’ that rose to No. 1 in the European Alternative Charts earlier this year.

“Wendy Bevan conjures moody cold wave that takes its cues from the genre’s greats…It’s ‘Personal Jesus’ meets ‘Ghost Rider’ meets ‘Lovesong'” – Spin
