Angele – 2 dates in North America

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, or so the saying goes. And for good reason…. Introducing Angèle! She’s the daughter of actress and comedian Laurence Bibot, and the singer Marka, former member of the legendary 80s group Allez Allez, who recently reunited for a tour. Not only that, but Angèle is also the sister of rapper Roméo Elvis, with whom she often joins on stage.

She started off her musical life as a pianist-vocalist enthusiast, but has since escaped that route, going on to explore something more personal, even eccentric. And her first single, “La Loi de Murphy”, just goes to prove it, oscillating from funny ditties to heartfelt narratives, with the chorus sung in English, and verses sung in French. Angèle sure doesn’t hold back, and she’s not afraid to tackle virile hip-hop heavies with her mischievous pout. Apart from gigs with her bro, she also secured the opening slot for Damso. A great way to see how a different audience would react to her music…

Between gigs and recording her hotly-anticipated debut album, the angelic Angèle puts her sweet little face out there on the web and in magazines, proving that she’s much more than just some hot girl. She’s a girl with attitude.
