New release: CloZee unveils captivating music video for the first single off debut album “Evasion”

French indie-electronic composer and producer CloZee has just unveiled her stunning music video for “Evasion” –  the title track and first single off her debut album coming this fall on Gravitas Recordings and Midnight Escape Records.

The “Evasion” music video was filmed in Southern France, in the luscious forest of Ariège, and the bustling city of Toulouse. The story begins with two children parting ways in a forest and flashes forward to the two rediscovering one another. United by the art of dance, the two reunite to the mesmerizing melodies and worldly sounds of the track. When the dance is completed, one of the dancers vanishes, leaving the other to realize it was all simply an evasion of reality in their imagination.

Directed by Cedric Gleyal – Uriprod, the dancers and choreographers in the video, Gil the Grid and Wesley Rommy, were hand selected by CloZee herself from the Dutch Amenti Collective, to bring a unique visual aesthetic to the video. The duet implements a moving performance that illustrates the power of “Evasion” through a dynamic bond between the dancers.

CloZee’s debut album “Evasion” is set for release this fall, allowing fans to experience her ethereal magic in a full body of work. The album touches on influences from every corner of the globe, with each track lending itself into a different cultural sound. CloZee’s productions acknowledge that music is a language that we all understand, as she designs rising beats and vibrating melodies with a universal dialect.

CloZee’s career is on a steady rise after the huge success of her hit singles “Koto,” “Red Forest,” and “Secret Place,” and massive performances at music festivals internationally. She was recently seen performing on the main stage of Electric Forest two weekends in a row, as well as numerous other sets throughout the duration of the festival. CloZee’s live sets truly showcase her DJing and curation capabilities as well as showing off her unique taste and world bass style. One of her sets from Electric Forest can be heard here.
To coincide with the forthcoming album, CloZee is embarking on an enormous world tour this September, with stops in major cities such as Los Angeles, New York, Chicago and Denver, with European and Australian dates to be announced soon. Fans all over the world will get the opportunity to experience the full Evasion album and embrace its ethereal sounds, as the LP is a culmination of CloZee’s experience travelling the world.
