07/12 – Chinese Man @ The Paperbox (Brooklyn) for Echo Chamber: Part II
Dub-Stuy Records presents Echo Chamber: Part II, the second event of a series dedicated to promote bass music and sound system culture in North America. The event will be powered by the iconic “Tower of Sound”- Dub-Stuy’s custom high fidelity mobile sound system. French supergroup Chinese Man will make their anticipated US debut as the headlining act with support from DJ DRM (Bastard Jazz), Bakir (Tuba), and DJ Ceiba.
Chinese Man formed in France in 2004 and has since played major festivals around the world with their dynamic sound, mixing hip-hop, dub, and various elements of bass music. With a collective that includes four DJs and two MCs, Chinese Man is known for their high energy performances and compelling visuals. Releasing records on their own imprint, Chinese Man Records, the group has been widely successful in Europe. Chinese Man is excited to debut their latest release, Racing With The Sun, stateside with the CD and LP available in July.
