Biography
Dahlia Dumont and her group ‘The Blue Dahlia, play a vibrant mix world music – touching everything from French chanson to reggae and klezmer, influenced by the group’s backgrounds in NYC, France, Senegal, Japan, Argentina and Mexico. Mexican and French-style accordion, nostalgic violin, a soaring horn section, a grooving rhythm section, and last but not least, Dahlia’s bright little ukulele create a sound that is organic, with an energy that is electric.
