Biography

Bombino’s  story is amazing: an ex-refugee, self-taught musician, and folk hero in his home country of Niger, he’s had four #1 world music albums on iTunes, worked Dan Auerbach (Black Keys) and David Longstreth (The Dirty Projectors), Keith Richards and Charlie Watts. He is admired by Robert Plant, Win Butler (Arcade Fire), Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age), Dave Matthews and Feist. A desert blues masterpiece, ‘Deran’ is one of the most the acclaimed albums of the year, and is the first Grammy nomination for an artist from Niger.
